So, probably about 50% of the time this is what my hair looks like.

The right side braid. It's great and quite convenient because first of all, it gets your hair off your neck when it' super hot out and secondly, It's perfect for cello playing! No friends. I know. haha. Anyways, I love it!! FAVE. Well I think I'm gonna pass out. Cause I've been up for 36 hours straight. hah. but more on that later...

Liffe is goo! I love summer!! One more week of summer. Excited! and sad. but mostly stoked!

How Can I Keep From Singing?

Today! Was healing, in a way. I got to sing again! And it was wonderful, to say the least. A couple of weeks ago I got an email that was sent to all members of the BYU Choirs asking for volunteers to sing at a demo type thing for Chorale Academy [a conducting/choral camp for adults to attend, that's run by Sister Hall and Dr. Staheli.] So I readily volunteered. Cause I've missed it. It's weird. Cause I've missed orchestra too, but not as much, cause I'm still on my cello 3-5 hours a day. But yah. It was so fun to see everyone again! And I'm happy to announce that I'm beginning to know and recognize many people from the choir world. love it. bahah. But yah. We did some sight singing and Dr. Staheli conducted that, bahhh! AMAZING. I wanna be in Singers. And then Sister Hall cleaned up a few spots in "O Love That Will Not Let Me Go" and we sang that for the group. They loved it! Like people were crying. bahah. (it kinda reminded me of mom.) But yah, it was just so touching and fun and wonderful to sing again! To quote my "fave" warm up, "I LOOOHHHOOOVVVEE TO SING!"

SUMMER TERM.

paradise. sunshine. empty practice rooms. less people. long days. closer parking. party 24/7. fast paced classes. fewer classes. frisbee. summer thunderstorms. wonderful morning runs. lots of make up free days. flip flops everyday. basketball short Fridays. hiking.

FALL SEMESTER.

back at school with my best friends. football games. peacoats. autumn leaves. cooler weather. more breaks. more people to talk to. cello studio. orchestra. women's chorus. french. sweaters. scarves. no efy kids, or women's conference, or orchestra camp. Christmas music.

K fine. Summer's still better. haha. I love it sooo much!! It's honestly so much fun and even though I do school work and stuff, sometimes it feels like I'm just chilling. I love summer term. But I'm also excited for fall to start again. I have Becs here with me now, so it's been a blast! But I'm excited for Elise, Laura, J-Dawg, and Liz to get back too. And T. Lund in a year :P

I loveee tap sooo much. It's honestly one of my fave things ever. I'm not incredibly gifted or anything, it's just so fun and happy! I wish I had time to do more things that I love. In the words of my good friend, "Music is RUINING my life!" bahah. it's really not. I love it so much.

Think I'll be able to squeeze in a tap class in my crazy 17.5 credits 9 classes fall semester?!

Here's the thing. I went running this morning and it was FANTASTIC. I love it sooo much. like so much.
Last summer I was running like everyday, or at least five times a week. This summer has been shameful in comparison. Granted, I'm going to school and working and practicing [unlike last summer. hah] and hanging out with friends and doing a calling. but still. I just needa find time to run. cuz I just feel like my whole day goes better when I do. So it's a plan. I'm gonna shoot for running 4 days a week right now. And if I can handle that I'll try to bump it up. I'm sooo excitedddd.

So yesterday in theory, I was just chillin'. And someone commented on how I had worn tie-dye twice this week. bahah. Ima hippie. Don't worry about it. Can't wait for my tie-dye brides maid dresses :] bahahah.

And in other news. I was calculating today. and I spend almost 24 hours a week practicing, probs closer to 21 or 22. But still. It's kinda sick and I'm not sure how I feel about that... haha. I love cello, I'm not quitting or anything, it just made me think.

one wish.

Life is fantastic!! I love being in p-town and am loving summer term, classes, cello, work, everything about it! I am thoroughly enjoying myself! In fact, I would love nothing more than for time to slow down a bit. Yes, I wanna go on a mish. I wanna do AMAZING things with my life. I just feel like I could be doing more here and now. I just wish there were a bit more time in the day. But I am grateful for the time I am given. I just needa learn to use it even more wisely than I have been. I am so happy :]
