I almost cried in phil yesterday.

Good cried.
Cause we played this.

Elgar: Nimrod (from "Enigma Variations")

ya know. the kind of music that can crack your heart open like a walnut.

It's breathtakingly beautiful. Chilling. Spine tingling. All that good stuff.

Music. Oh man. I dunno how it does it. but it's AMAZING.

haha. Kory practically cried to and asked us after,

"Do you even just sit and ponder about tonality?"

I love him. and phil.

I'm so blessed to perform with this group.

family time;

Pup and I went to J.J. and Megs' to hang out and see Bels. And she's finally walking!!

This was kinda anticlimactic since she's been able to walk for awhile now, she's just been original and been getting around on her knees. But it's still exciting and new!!

Love her!

The secret to being happy?

Mozart's Piano Sonata K. 333 Movement 3.

But seriously. It's the best. There's something implicitly happy and satisfying about it. I'm in love.

I've made it a goal to listen to all of Mozart's piano sonatas. There are 18 total and I'm now on 14. The one above is 13.

But it's great! My only problem is that I've been listening to them during hw and stuff and I'll often just sit and enjoy the music rather than get lots of hw done. (Much like I'm doing now.) But they're great.

I love music! So much!

Oh. Also, since I last blogged, I've started my mish papers!! I'm completely jazzed about it!! And I've decided I'm gonna stay down in p-town and work and give a farewell recital during spring term. I'm excited!!

Well. Life is fantastic. Better than fantastic.
