getting back up.

Wooo, what a day. Let me tell you. So I know I'm an emo kid, but I have spent most of this afternoon crying.

The reason?

Well, I auditioned for BYU Philharmonic today. And, I didn't get in. This wouldn't have been quite as hard a blow if I didn't expect it as much as I did. Unfortunately, I expected it. So I auditioned today at 11:30. Then I had class and had to wait for an hour or so. Checked the list at 12:45, and my name was under Symphony, not Phil. Yah, I don't even know what to say. I guess this is just another compelled to be humble type experience. And I could probs use it.

Well, tomorrow is another day.

And despite all this sadness I feel, the church is true. Jesus Christ felt what I'm feeling right now and more than that. I'm so grateful for the Atonement in my life so that I always have someone I can go to and who understands what I'm going through.

I take it back.

So a couple posts ago I made a pro con list for summer term and fall semester. And I decided what I really want is fall semester with the HFAC just being emptier. [Being able to practice in the Madsen or just find a practice room in the middle of the day.] Because I LOVE fall. It's fun having everyone back. My bffs are all back in p-town! The season itself is great. Orchestra and choir start up again. I getta take french. Ya know, the works. So yah. I think that is what I really want.

And on a happy note. This is my LAST fall semester before my mish. What whattt! And my second to last semester before it. I AM ECSTATIC.

Fall is great. I love my classes and I'll love it even more once Audishs are over. I have two more. Phil's tomorrow!! So I'll prob post and say what went down.

I'm SUPER stoked for summer. 2 weeks of nothing! WHAT AM I GONNA DO WITH MYSELF?!
oh yah. practice a ton and read LOTS of the Book of Mormon and run. STOKED. and maybs sleep if I feel like it...

I will miss summer term though. Seriously, I dunno what it is about summer term but I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Some of the happiest moments of my life have been during summer terms at BYU. No joke. This one and the one before my freshman year. They're just LEGIT.

Tomorrow=cleaning, packing, and moving day. Woooo. Then a couple days in UTAH to do shenanigans with the fam, then home on MONDAY. I CANNOT WAIT.
