general conference.

This last weekend was general conference. It's a weekend where we get to hear the words of living prophets as they teach and testify of gospel truths. This weekend was healing for me as I've kinda been feeling like I'm drowning lately. There's just been a lot on my plate lately.

What with cello, theory, french, orchestra, women's chorus, section leader-ing, being a FHE mom, my CRAZY Saturdays, work, money, family, friends, mish prep, planning out next semester, letter writing, trying to make friends in my ward, figuring out what to do for food since I'm on campus all day everyday, finding time to go to the temple, sleep, fighting sickness, etc.

There's just been A LOT on my mind and A TON of stuff to do. All day, from the time I wake up at 5 til I go to bed at 12.

BUT! this weekend was EXACTLY what I needed in my life to at least make me feel happier if nothing else.

The Spirit spoke to me and told me exactly what I needed to hear to make my life better and easier.

I also got to GO to conference on Sunday morning with Liz and Becs.

This is how we scored our tickets:

anddd, when I say we I really mean Liz and Becs. hah. Liz got 2 tix and Becs got 1 from passers by. My grand total, 0.

It was such a blessing to be able to get tickets to that session because sooo many people were doing what we were and asking for tickets. We were super blessed to find 3 tickets for all of us. All that morning before it started, I was bouncing up and down in my seat. I was SOOO excited to be there. It wasn't my first time going, but I just needed to go, so it was great to be there.

Anyways, I'm so grateful to be apart of the true Church of Jesus Christ. I know that His church is lead today by a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, and apostles. I can't wait to go on a mish and share this good news with everyone around me! Until then, I'll just have to keep opening my mouth :]

The Church is TRUE! I know it is.

Life is great. We are loved by a loving Heavenly Father who knows us individually.

And. I love bricks:
